Adding a New Site for Cleaning
Learn how to add a new location to your client's service schedule
Overview
Sites represent physical locations that require cleaning services. Each site belongs to a client and can have its own service schedule, contact person, and special requirements.
Step 1: Navigate to the Client
First, go to the client who owns the site:
- Click Clients in the sidebar menu
- Find and click on the client's name to view their details
- Scroll down to the Sites section
- Click the Add Site button
Step 2: Enter Site Information
Fill in the basic details about the location:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Site Name * | A descriptive name for the location (e.g., "Main Office", "Building A", "Warehouse") |
| Site Code | Optional internal reference code for your records |
| Address * | Full street address including city, state, and postal code |
| Site Notes | Access instructions, parking info, alarm codes, or special requirements |
Step 3: Add Site Contact (Optional)
If there's a specific contact person at this site:
- Contact Name - The person to liaise with at the site
- Contact Phone - Direct phone number
- Contact Email - Email address for communications
- Position - Their role (e.g., "Facility Manager", "Reception")
Step 4: Set Service Schedule
Configure how often this site needs cleaning:
| Frequency | Best For |
|---|---|
| Daily | High-traffic offices, retail stores, medical facilities |
| Weekly | Standard office cleaning, small businesses |
| Fortnightly | Residential properties, low-traffic areas |
| Monthly | Deep cleaning, specialised services |
| As Needed | One-off jobs, on-call services |
After selecting a frequency, choose which day(s) of the week the service should occur.
Step 5: Save the Site
Click Create Site to save. You'll be returned to the client's sites list where you can:
- Add more sites for this client
- Create jobs for this site
- Manage site spaces (rooms/areas)
Tip: After creating a site, you can add individual spaces (rooms, floors, areas) to track cleaning tasks at a more granular level.
