Managing Jobs
Learn how to view, edit, and manage cleaning jobs
Viewing Jobs
Access your jobs in multiple ways:
- Jobs List - Go to Operations > Jobs for a full list
- Calendar View - Go to Operations > Calendar for a visual schedule
- Dashboard - See today's and upcoming jobs at a glance
- Client Profile - View jobs for a specific client
Job Status Overview
Jobs progress through these statuses:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Scheduled | Job created but no team assigned yet |
| Assigned | Team members assigned, waiting for start time |
| In Progress | Work has started (team clocked in) |
| Completed | All work finished |
| Cancelled | Job cancelled - will not be completed |
Editing a Job
To update job details:
- Find the job in the list or calendar
- Click on the job to open its details
- Click the Edit button
- Update the necessary fields
- Click Update Job to save
Editable fields: Date, time, priority, description, special instructions, assigned team members, and billing details.
Reassigning Team Members
To change who's assigned to a job:
- Edit the job
- In the Team Assignment section, uncheck current assignees
- Check the boxes for new team members
- The first selected person becomes the lead
- Save your changes
Rescheduling Jobs
To change when a job occurs:
- Edit the job
- Update the Scheduled Date
- Adjust Start Time and End Time if needed
- Save your changes
Or use the Calendar view to drag and drop jobs to new dates.
Managing Job Tasks
From the job detail page, you can:

| Add Tasks | Click "Add Task" to add from templates or create custom tasks |
| Complete Tasks | Click the checkbox next to each task as it's done |
| Reorder Tasks | Drag tasks to change the order |
| Delete Tasks | Click the trash icon to remove a task |
Completing a Job
Jobs can be marked complete in several ways:
- Automatic - When team clocks out, job status updates
- Manual - Edit the job and change status to "Completed"
- Task-based - Complete all tasks and the job auto-completes
Cancelling a Job
- Open the job details
- Click Edit
- Change status to Cancelled
- Add a note explaining the cancellation reason
- Save your changes
Note: Cancelled jobs remain in the system for records. For recurring jobs, cancelling one instance doesn't affect future occurrences.
Quick Tips
Use the calendar
The calendar view makes it easy to spot scheduling conflicts and gaps.
Add special instructions
Include access codes, parking details, or client preferences in the notes.
Check task completion
Review completed tasks to ensure all work was done before closing a job.
Filtering Jobs
Filter the jobs list by:
- Status (Scheduled, Assigned, etc.)
- Date range
- Client
- Team member
- Priority level
